Cleaning Services in Citrus County, FL

Citrus County is the far end of our range, and we are straight about that: it is a longer drive than anywhere else on our list. What we do is group jobs up here onto the same days, which keeps it worth doing for everybody.

If you are in Crystal River, Inverness, Homosassa or one of the big subdivisions in between, call and ask rather than assuming we cannot get to you. Recurring work and multiple properties are easy to schedule. One-off jobs just need a bit more notice so we can put you on a day we are already heading north.

Crystal River and Homosassa

This is springs country, and it runs on visitors. Manatee season brings people to Crystal River from November through spring, and the rivers at Homosassa keep fishing and paddling traffic going most of the year.

That makes short-term rentals a big part of the work up here. Turnovers have the same rules as anywhere else, with one addition: guests come back wet and sandy from the water, so floors, bathrooms and entryways take more of a beating than a normal rental. Inverness and Floral City

Inverness is the county seat and the housing near the historic downtown and the lakes is older, with the character and the maintenance load that comes with it. Floral City is smaller and sits under a canopy of live oaks that is one of the nicest drives in the county.

That canopy has a cost. Shaded walls grow algae while the sunny side still looks clean, and driveways stain under leaf and berry drop. If you have oaks over the house, plan on pressure washing the house and the driveway more often than the standard advice.

The big subdivisions

Beverly Hills, Citrus Springs, Sugarmill Woods and Pine Ridge make up a large share of the county's housing, and a large share of it is retiree-owned. Modest single-story homes, a lot of them lived in by one or two people, and plenty that sit empty for part of the year.

Planning a job up here

Two things make Citrus County work well for both sides. The first is notice: a week or so lets us fit you onto an existing run instead of making a special trip. The second is bundling.

If the house needs cleaning and the driveway and siding need washing, doing them in one visit is one drive and one setup instead of two, and it prices better than booking them apart. Same goes if you have more than one property or if a neighbour wants something done the same day.
